Charles W. Ford, MD
Dr. Ford was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the oldest child in his family and sibling to three sets of fraternal twins. His father’s work with the Army took the family all over the world during his childhood, ultimately settling in Baltimore, Maryland, for his teen years. Dr. Ford is a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and has served the United States as a Special Forces Ranger, officer, and military physician. Dr. Ford graduated from Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University, and conducted his surgical and ENT residencies at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Ford is board certified with the American Board of Otolaryngology (ABO), is a Fellow with the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy (AAOA), and is a board certified Diplomate with the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS). Dr. Ford takes great pride in the ancillary services provided to patients of Blue Ridge ENT in the areas of allergy treatment, hearing health, and in-office ultrasound and CT services, allowing his patients to receive comprehensive head and neck medical care.
Dr. Ford is also a proud father and grandfather. He and his wife, Diane, have been married for almost thirty years. The Fords have three lovely daughters, two of whom are married and have blessed the family with six grandchildren to date. Dr. Ford cherishes time with his family and makes it a priority when he is out of the office to invest his time and attention on his growing extended family.
