The contest was started by Dr.\nMarkovich in 2010 as a way to give back to the community. The goal of the\ncontest is to identify an individual who would most benefit from a free pair of\nhearing aids and services in the community from the counties of Watauga, Ashe\nand Avery. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To enter,\nparticipants must submit an essay of 500 words or less stating who they would\nlike to nominate for consideration and how that person would benefit from ReSound\nhearing aids and follow-up services.&nbsp; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" width=\"800\" height=\"534\" src=\"https:\/\/blueridge-ent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/contest.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1853\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blueridge-ent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/contest.jpg 800w, https:\/\/blueridge-ent.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/11\/contest-768x513.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Entries\nmust be submitted no later than, Friday, December 6.
