Joseph D. Garner, MD
Otolaryngologist
Dr. Garner will join Blue Ridge Ear, Nose and Throat in September 2024 as an Otolaryngologist. He will not only increase Blue Ridge ENT’s capacity to serve ENT patients but will add services for cochlear implants and obstructive sleep apnea.
Dr. Garner has volunteered in Kenya providing ENT care to patients in need. Prior to his physician training and education, Dr. Garner spent time at Lenoir Community College, completing his EMT basic training. He also worked as an Emergency Medical Technician, Patient Intake Volunteer and Patient Service Assistant. Additionally, Dr. Garner served as Medical Assistant for Blue Ridge ENT in 2014 and 2015.
Outside of work, Dr. Garner enjoys physical activity such as Spartan Races and inline skating, reading and spending time with his wife and soon-to-be seven children. We are very excited for Dr. Garner’s homecoming and to see him serve the community at the standard of care that has come to be expected at Blue Ridge ENT.
