Andrew T. Voglewede, MD
Dr. Voglewede was born and raised in Marion, VA. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in Chemistry in 2005, and subsequently completed medical school at the University of Virginia in 2009. In June of 2014 he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida. He is board certified with the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. He joined Blue Ridge Ear, Nose and Throat, Inc. in September of 2014 and is very happy to be back home in the mountains.
Dr. Voglewede’s office practice includes comprehensive treatment of problems involving the ear, nose, throat and head/neck including allergies, hearing/balance disorders, head and neck tumors and sinus problems. His surgical practice encompasses all areas of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, including ear tubes and other ear surgeries, tonsillectomy/adenoidectomy, sinus surgery, head and neck cancer surgery and thyroid/parathyroid surgery. He has a special interest in sinus-related pathology and sinus surgery.
Dr. Voglewede is happily married to his wife, Katelyn, for 4 years. They have two young children.
